The Institute
The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

In 1977, the first Joseph Ratzinger of students was established, which was expanded in 2008 by the New Circle. Every year, students and theologians meet for a study day. The lectures of this year's conference at the end of September in Rome can now be viewed online. Speakers include Cardinal Kurt Koch, Markus Graulich, Vincent Twomey, Sven Conrad and Ralph Weimann. In occasion of the meeting many participants visit the study library Joseph Ratzinger in the Campo Santo Teutonico.
