Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.

Dr Federica Germana Giordani (* 1987 in Rome) received her doctorate from the Sapienza in 2016 with a thesis on historical linguistics. She is free historian and a freelancer for the Society for the Study of Conciliar History.
