Keywan Klaus Münster (Bonn) studied history, political science and social sciences at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. He has been the managing director of the Society for Rhenish History since 2019.

The office, which is supported by the Landschaftsverband Rheinland, is located at the LVR Institute for Regional Studies and Regional History in Bonn. He is working on the completion of his doctoral thesis on Cologne Archbishop Karl Joseph Cardinal Schulte (1871-1941, Bf. Paderborn 1910-1920, Ebf. Cologne 1920-1941) and is also examining the questions of church politics raised in this context from a "Roman perspective". During his one-month research stay at the RIGG, which was also sponsored by the DHI Rome, he visited various Vatican archives.
