The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

The Swiss Institute in Rome is hosting a conference on early Christian and early Byzantine sarcophagi. Speakers include Alessandro Vella, Umberto Utro, Cecilia Proverbio, Gaia Maiotti, Barbara Mazzei, Galit Noga Banai, Vasiliki Tsamakda and Manuela Studer-Karlen. Jutta Dresken Weiland will talk about the Campo Santo Teutonico collection.
