The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

In a few weeks, the first double issue of the Roman Quarterly for Christian Antiquity and Church History (RQ) for 2025 will be published.

It contains five articles on the founder of the Roman Institute of the Görres Society, Johann Peter Kirsch (+ 1941), by Ingo Schaaf, Manuela Studer-Karlen, Isabelle Mossong, Martin Klöckener and Stefan Heid. These are followed by articles by Stefan Manganaro, Marco Junio Coccari and Bernhard Huber.
