The Institute
The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

The RIGG website has experienced ups and downs since 2016. After peaking in the first half of 2019, visitor numbers fell steadily, but have been rising sharply since the first half of 2024. At the end of the first half of 2025, an absolute record has now been set with 106,058 visitors in the months from January to 2025.
