The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

I was born in Unna in 1997, started studying Protestant theology in Münster in 2015, completed the 46th year of theological studies in Jerusalem in 2019/20, and then studied in Göttingen until the ecclesiastical examination in March 2023, where I then started my doctorate. I am currently studying the history of theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum of Sant'Anselmo. I am particularly interested in icons and their ecumenical significance.
