Another visit from the extended family of Stephan Ehses
In March, eager and interested relatives of the former director of the Roman Institute of the Görres Society Stephan Ehses (+ 1926) again visited the Campo Santo Teutonico, where his grave is located. Ehses came from a wine-growing family in Zeltingen. The Zucker family keeps the memory of their ancestor alive, and in doing so they delight the Institute with gifts of wine from Zeltingen, the birthplace of Stephan Ehses. This time they even brought a bottle of the "Zeltinger Schloßberg Auslese" (1994), which - certainly arranged by Stephan Ehses - was on the menu of the general assembly of the Görres Society in Koblenz in 1916.
In the absence of the director, Ignacio García received the delicious goods.
