Further impressions of the archaeological congress in Belgrade
The 18th International Congress of Christian Archaeology was not only an academic event, but was also very well received by the public.
This was also due to the fact that two special exhibitions were opened in the Serbian National Museum on the occasion of the congress. They were organised by Prof. Spehar Perica, an archaeologist at the University of Belgrade, and Tatjana Cvjetićanin from the Serbian National Museum, both of whom were members of the National Committee for the Congress (both on the foto at the exhibition opening). In addition to the Minister of Culture, Belgrade Archbishop Ladislav Nemet was also present at the opening.
The Serbian Ambassador to the Holy See, Sima Avramovic, himself a former professor of law, has published a report on his website. He contributed to the success of the congress through his contacts in important places.
