The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

On 24-25 November, an international conference on the urban-rural relationship in the late antique provinces of Asia Minor will take place at the Department of Ancient History of the Historical Institute in Cologne. The focus will be on the aspect of 'order and authority'.
