The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

After the conference in February 2018 on the papal historian Ludwig Pastor (1854-1928), which was also partly held at the RIGG (here on the book), Andreas Sohn and Jacques Verger (both Paris) are organising another conference on Pastor on 14-15 September at the Premonstratensian Abbey of Wilten in Innsbruck. Bernard Ardura, Andreas Gottsmann, Volker Leppin, REinhard Meßner, Christof Paulus, Christine Grafinger and Paolo Vian are among the speakers. Winfried Becker speaks about "Ludwig von Pastor and the Görres Society".
