Roberto Regoli new director of the Vatican Ratzinger Foundation
Since January, Dr Roberto Regoli, professor of church history at the Gregorian University (not a Jesuit), has been the new director of the Vatican's Ratzinger Foundation. He succeeds Father Federico Lombardi, who served as director for many years.
Regoli has been a member of the Roman Institute of the Görres Society since 2022. Father Lombardi already worked closely with the Roman Institute, which oversees the Benedict Library. This will undoubtedly continue under the new director. The foundation awards five doctoral scholarships each year.
