The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

On 6 November, the Austrian Historical Institute in Rome will host a study day on the pontificate of Pius XII (1939-1958) following the opening of the Vatican archives. Speakers will include Gianfranco Armando, Julian Sandhagen, Bernhard Kronegger and Roberto Regoli.
