The commemorative volume *Das Deutsche Kolleg im Vatikan. Der Campo Santo Teutonico 1876–2026: Ort leidenschaftlicher Kirchlichkeit und Debatte* (The German College in the Vatican. The Campo Santo Teutonico 1876–2026: A Place of Passionate Devotion and Debate) is an 851-page work dedicated to the long history of the Priestly College, told through the stories of outstanding and ‘remarkable’ figures who lived there and made significant contributions to academia, politics and pastoral care.

Dr Ignacio García Lascurain Bernstorff, co-editor with Stefan Heid of the commemorative volume—which is richly illustrated with historical photographs—presented the book at a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Holy See. In addition to members of the Campo Santo community, a large number of the authors were in attendance. García masterfully introduced the audience to the fascination and richness of the various contributions, thereby whetting their appetite to read the book for themselves.
